Doubling down on the otherworldly atmosphere of the film's original compositions, 'Music from Close Encounters of the Third Kind' is a fitting tribute to one of the most iconic science fiction soundtracks of all time. Reinterpreted on the Moog Synthesizer (a modular synthesizer developed in 1964 by American engineer Robert Moog, which established the analog synthesizer concept around the world), science fiction and technology join forces once again to synthesize their own take on a number of legendary sequences from John Williams' original score.
