Chinese Wall and Inside Out were his second and third solo pop albums for CBS, originally issued in 1984 and 1986. Chinese Wall, recorded in London and produced by Phil Collins, includes the smash hit # 1 duet with Collins 'Easy Lover'. Inside Out was produced by Chic's Nile Rodgers, and includes guest performances from such luminaries as Jeff Beck, George Duke, Ray Parker Jr., Nathan East, Weather Report's Omar Hakim and the Rolling Stones' bass player Daryl Jones.
