Growing up in Vancouver of Japanese and Trinidadian descent Brevner has always stood out amongst his peers for his unique look, artistic savviness and brash, honest and unwavering talent. Brevner combines the heart of Bushido Project with the classic appeal of Eclectricy and the contemporary style of Brevner EP on this highly anticipated release. Ikigai (a Japanese word whose meaning translates roughly to "a reason for being, encompassing joy, a sense of purpose and meaning and a feeling of well-being.") was created with the intention of ultimately merging two of Brevner's passions - audio and video production into one product, leaving you with a tangible look into the creation process as a whole.
