180-Gram Vinyl Limited Edition. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Elizete Cardoso (1920-1990) was one of the best-known voices of Bossa Nova. She enjoyed considerable success and popularity. In 1958, Cardoso was invited by Vinícius de Moraes to sing on an album featuring tunes he co-wrote with Antônio Carlos Jobim. The result, Canção do Amor Demais, presented here in it's entirety, was one of her biggest hits and the earliest proper Bossa Nova LP.
