Billy Griffin is the great American soul singer who replaced Smokey Robinson in the Motown recording group, the Miracles. In addition to singing lead, he co-wrote many of the group's major hits. In the late 80's he joined British producer Ian Levine's massive Motown reunion Motorcity Records project and was the first to release a single on the label. He became a featured writer and performer for the label and arranged background vocals for several of the artists. This compilation focuses on his biggest successes for the label.
